Glynnis Olin, LMSW is a psychotherapist who works with adolescents and adults in individual therapy, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and eclectic approaches to tailor care to each client’s needs. She has particular interest in self-esteem and body image issues (including body dysmorphic disorder), trauma (developmental, complex, and acute), social anxiety, depression, and burnout. Passionate about holistic treatment, Glynnis also considers how factors such as gut health, sleep, diet, and exercise may influence mental well-being when relevant and desired by clients. She creates a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space to support reflection, growth, and healing, and while her focus is currently on individual therapy, she is also developing her interest in couples therapy.

Psychotherapist

Life gets overwhelming. Sometimes it can even feel like your brain is working against you. But you are not alone – and together, we can work with your brain to find peace and clarity.

As a licensed social worker and therapist, I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment that empowers you to reach your goals. I am experienced in providing holistic and compassionate mental health care to teens, young adults, and adults struggling with self-esteem issues, social anxiety, depression, PTSD, body dysmorphia, burnout, and more.

I specialize in working with people who are seeking to process and recover from traumatic experiences, improve their relationships, adjust to life transitions, and better understand the mind-body connection. My trauma-informed and eclectic approach draws from various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to equip you with the tools to regulate your nervous system, explore how your past may be influencing your present, and change the patterns in your life that may be holding you back.

With certificates in Trauma and Neuroscience, as well as experience in community health and college counseling, I know each person has unique circumstances, needs, and preferences. That is why I provide personal, individualized support as well as LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally sensitive care.

Together, we will find what works best for you to foster personal growth and healing.
