Gregory Sammartano, MHC-LP

Psychotherapist

I am a pre-licensed therapist providing a wide range of psychological services in the state of New York. I support individuals navigating a variety of concerns, including men’s issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the emotional impact of societal roles and privileges.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adelphi University and have over a year of experience working in private practice, offering individual therapy. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based and integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, psychodynamic therapy, attachment-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal therapy.

I take an individualized, person-centered approach that honors each client’s unique background, culture, and experiences. My goal is to create a safe, supportive therapeutic space where clients can develop self-awareness, build emotional resilience and move toward meaningful personal growth. I emphasize strong therapeutic rapport and collaboration, believing that the client-therapist relationship is foundational to healing and long-term success.
