Rebecca Marbach, LMSW, MT-BC
Psychotherapist
I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being your authentic self. If you feel stuck in familiar patterns, we can explore the thoughts, emotions, and core beliefs that may be shaping your experiences, while working toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change.
I have a particular interest in complex and developmental trauma, especially how these experiences impact relationships with ourselves and others. I specialize in anxiety and panic, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, LGBTQ+ affirming care, stress and burnout, and working with college students.
As a clinician, I am trauma-informed and culturally affirming. I am an EMDR therapist and often incorporate somatic and mindfulness-based approaches into my work. I also draw from motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic frameworks. When appropriate, I can integrate music therapy and creative arts approaches into treatment as well.
You may be coming to therapy because you want to feel heard, seen, and validated by an objective listener. Or perhaps you are looking for something more action-oriented: identifying goals, building coping skills, and getting “unstuck.” Whatever brings you here, we will work together as a team to face challenges, deepen insight, and take meaningful steps forward.
