Psychotherapist

Welcome! I offer gender affirming and trauma-informed care to adults and college-age young adults who are struggling with mood and adjustment disorders. We do not choose the families, countries, or systems that we are born into, and yet so much of our interior lives are deeply impacted by these uncommon inheritances. It takes courage to heal within social, economic, and political dynamics that are not entirely in our control, and I am committed to partnering with you as you continue to craft a life worth living in uncertain times.

As a sociologist and social worker by training, I support clients who are navigating intimacy, identity, and life transitions. My specialization is in relational psychodynamic approaches, and I draw on a range of treatment modalities to co-create a therapeutic alliance with the clients who entrust me with their care.

Over the last 20 years, I have mentored dozens of college-age students as they navigate the developmental transition into adulthood. My background in higher education as a faculty member and researcher who specializes in trans, queer, and migration studies deeply informs my more recent turn to clinical social work. My clients value my ability to facilitate the co-creation of a therapeutic alliance.
